Dawn slowly lean up on her elbow seeing her lover blood teers. Reaching up the young vampire wipe the tears away.. Dawn lick the blood from her fingers still love the taste of her lovers blood. Placing her hand on Mindy's lap. ''I'm sorry for the fight too Mindy and I don't blame you. I don't want you to blame yourself either, But I know that is hard for you.''

Mindy wants to pull Dawn up to her, but that would hurt her lover. "It does hurt me Dawn. But not like it hurt you. Which no matter how many times that I tell you I'm sorry it doesn't seem enough."

"I don't know why you don' t blame me Dawn. I....." Mindy takes several minutes before starting again.

"Thank you for not blaming me." What mindy didn't add was that she blamed herself enough for the two of them.

"IF we didn't have that fight before you left. Then this wouldn't have happened to you. You would have been in my bed with me. Not in that damn motel where they found you. Dawn look at Mindy listening to what she was saying about their fight. The young brunette wonder if her lover and sire was right. Will Dawn in time blame her lover for what happen to her. Dawn look at her lover seeing her look down at their bed. Reaching over Dawn tilted Mindy's head to look into her eyes.

''Mindy I don't blame you for me being rape. But how ever you did hurt me when you told me not to be in your room when you got back. Should i had left the house to go to that motel? No but I did anyways. Dawn feeling the tears forming. ''I just wanted you to choose me for once and when I ask you too. you didn't Mindy which really hurt me so much. "Yes I did chose your sister over you. Can't really say that it will not happen in the future. But will try for it not to. Buffy is my sire. Just as I am yours. Sometimes Dawn it's hard to resist that. You will be there sometime." Mindy throw for several long minutes. "Didn't your sister bite you?" She taps her fingers on Dawn shoulder that wasn't black and blue. "You may learn sooner then you think."

Dawn remove her hands from her sire and lover's cheek. Leaning each palm oj her hand on her cheeks. The young brunette look up listening to what Mindy was saying. Dawn haven't been a vampire long like her sister or Mindy. So She didn't know how to handle Mindy always being drawn to Buffy. For Dawn that was one of the reason she left the house.

Dawn coming out of her thoughts hearing what her sire and lover ask her. ''Yes Buffy did bite me Mindy.'' The young vampire said to her sire and lover. ''I don't know what will happen if my sister wants me to come to her. But what I do know is that I love you Mindy.''

"It might have been better if Buffy had Sired you." Smiling a little. "At least then you would know about the call that she has on her Childe's. Much like I image that Drusilla has on Buffy. Do I think that your sister would have turned you. No I don't. Buffy loves you to much for her sister to become one of the night creatures. Thou there are some things that it seems that you are different then I just like Buffy is." Mindy pauses. "Dawn your know in time is all that I can say. Just as there will always be a call that makes me want to go to Buffy. She's my Sire after all. Try to think what you feel toward me sometime. Then add the years that myself and Buffy have had. Makes its that much stronger."

''I guess and I'm trying to understand Mindy I really am. It's hard for me still and my sister is the main reason why I left. I know that Buffy loves me and I love her she my family.'' Dawn said laying her head down knowing that her lover and sire could since something was wrong. Dawn didn't want to fight with Mindy again and lose her. ''I am a creature of the night now and I know that it's going to take time to get use to how this sire and childe thing works.''

"Dawn I know that I have upset you. Wasn't trying to do that." Mindy laid her head back against the head board. Moving her hand from Dawn hand. "Just think about what I have said. I'm not planning of going to your sister Dawn. We saw what happened the last time." Pausing. "Even with that I can't promise that I would never go to her again."

Mindy wrinkles her nose at the way that she smells. "I need to take a shower. Will you still be here Dawn if I do?"

"Am glad about that D." Mindy waited for Dawn to raised just a little before she got out from under her lover. Mindy stood there looking at her for several minutes before moving over to the door to the bathroom. Mindy knew enough that the time before both of them was going to take time. Dawn should have been healing better then what she was. The vampire part of her wasn't working. Mindy would have to ask Buffy for help. She didn't really know how to handle this part of the turning. Turning the water on to hot she waits for several minutes then gets under the water to shower.

Dawn turned her head watching her Mindy heading to the bathroom to take her shower. The young vampire close her eyes thinking about what her lover and sire told her. The young brunette was still having a hard time with Buffy being her lover's sire she wanted to be able to understand this part of being a vampire. Dawn knew that she loves Mindy and willing to try too understand the sire and childe part of her turning. The young brunette don't ever want to lose Mindy.
