| Mara returns her smile while running a hand through her tangled hair. “I’d love to see you again. But don’t worry I’m not looking for anything permanent”, she was quick to assure her. Before lowering her head to look at the scar marring her chest. “Got a little unfinished business to take care of.”
She sensed that the vampire had other things on her mind such as the call she just received. Rising from the bed gracefully, she slipped back into her rumpled dress. “I’ll let myself out, Charity.” After giving the vampire, a parting kiss Mara departed from the mansion.
